Paris-born, Antoine Bootz studied photography in Marseilles. Drawing upon inspiration from Duane Michaels, William Klein and Robert Frank, Bootz forged his own path as a young professional and his international career was born during his inaugural trip to New York City.
Bootz has applied his eclectic style of interior photography to editorial shoots for The New York Times Magazine, Metropolitan Home, Martha Stewart Living, Nest, and House & Garden. His work has also been featured in advertising campaigns for Calvin Klein, Fila and Donna Karan.
Bootz currently calls New York home, but often finds himself in Paris. While he names “batteries” as the only thing he can’t live without as a photographer, he finds that his own batteries are best charged by spending time with his wife and their son and daughter - preferably on a small, remote island.
